About the movie:

Many Africans migrating to Europe fall victim to False Utopia and wishful thinking. There is a general misconception about the so called bush fallers who start out for a better life in Europe.

Their relatives in Africa have high and often unrealistic expectations of life in Europe. The bush fallers, noticing that unforeseen difficulties are apt to show up, struggle to take care of their families and friends back home.

The movie deals with the destinies of four individuals trying to find their way in a cold and repellent Germany.

Tracy for example, is a young girl who has got the chance to travel to Germany in order to live with her aunt. She is very anxious to leave her family and friends thinking life in Europe is perfect.

Frank, a professional mechanic from Cameroon, cannot get a job in his field in Germany, because of the difficulties to achieve a working permit.

When times are good with the immigrants, family and friends back home are happy, but when things are getting tougher, the immigrants are blamed by their families and friends for not being able to provide for them.

Because of these problems, the loneliness and stress, and being far away from home, a diverse change of behaviour occurs: Frank’s addiction to alcohol is now prevalent. In other words, Frank is a drunkard. To support their newly adopted bad habits, crime becomes the main source of finance, and another young man, Desmond, gets involved in drug dealing. Sally, also part of the group, becomes a competitive smoker.

Survival of the fittest becomes a fixed role for the immigrants and even crime is tolerable when it comes to difficulties.

All these people are faced with the harsh reality that life in Europe can be a jungle, full of stress for immigrants. Many talents are wasted.

Tracy has a problem of finding a job, because she cannot speak the German language, then decides to marry a German to ease her confusion and pain, but is this marriage for better or for worse?

The movie shows the unmasked truth and is in this aspect taboo-breaking. The protagonist’s destinies are depicted in a moving way.

Will Tracy, Frank, Desmond and Sally find a way out of this vicious circle?
Unveil the secret of immigrant’s life in Europe!
